A little help for a secretive town.

Play with one shared phone, or create a room and let everyone join from their own screen.

Start a one-phone game

1. Gather 5–16 people and enter names in seating order.
2. Choose the Doctor, Detective, and timing options, then deal the roles.
3. Pass the phone only when the next player’s name appears and keep each screen private.
4. Follow the night, discussion, ballot, and winner screens. No game master is needed.

Join an online room

The host shares a six-character room code. Open the public game, choose Everyone’s phone, and enter the code with a unique nickname before roles are dealt. Online rooms require internet and expire after 24 hours.

Interruptions and saved games

One-phone games pause and remain on that device. Online players should reopen the same browser or app on the same device to reclaim a saved seat. Avoid clearing device storage during a game.

Accounts and reviews

An account is optional. Signed-in hosts can see recent online games, write one review, edit or delete it, report a review, and delete their After Hours account data. Anonymous play remains available.

Host Pass

Where offered, the Host Pass is a one-time Apple or Google purchase. Use Restore purchase on the same store account. Purchases do not automatically transfer between platforms, and pending purchases unlock only after the store confirms them.
