Your photos stay on your iPhone.

Domino Lens uses image processing on your device to count the visible dots on dominoes.

Photos and camera

The app uses camera permission to photograph dominoes. Camera images and photos you select are held only for the current scan. Domino Lens does not upload them or save copies to your photo library. The system photo picker shares only the photos you choose. You can change camera permission in iPhone Settings.

Saved counts and sharing

When you tap Save count, Domino Lens stores tile values, dates, source labels, optional titles, and tile positions locally in its app storage. Photos are not included. You can delete saved counts from the Saved counts screen. Your iPhone’s backup settings may include app data.

If you choose to share a count, the destination you select receives the shared text and handles it under its own policies.

Data collection

Domino Lens does not collect data from the app, create accounts, track you, display ads, or include analytics services. Recognition works without an internet connection.

Pro purchases

Apple processes payments for the optional one-time Pro unlock. Domino Lens reads Apple’s purchase records on your device to verify Pro access and restore purchases. We do not receive payment-card details or upload purchase records to our own server.

Buying or restoring Pro requires an App Store connection and may require your Apple Account. Apple handles transaction information under Apple’s privacy policy.

Refunds or revoked purchases can remove Pro access. Existing saved counts remain on the device and stay available to read, rename, and delete.

Support requests

If you contact us, we will receive the contact information and content you choose to provide and use it to respond. This is separate from the app’s on-device image processing. Include only what is needed to explain the issue.
